Giwon moved to the U.S. in 1990.   He shot over ten dramatic short films as Director of Photography while at the American Film Institute.   After developing further skills and knowledge, Giwon was employed by the American Korean Broadcasting Company making commercials as a producer as well as working for the Korean TV Samsung Catch 1 Channel for American Films.   Giwon was also employed by the Vista Street film company as producer for professional features for the USA market.

In 1998, he moved to New Zealand and was employed by the local Christchurch TV Station.  During and after working for this company, he formed SLEEK Film Productions in 2001, produced a number of Music films and co-produced the Korean feature film “Antarctic Journal” in New Zealand locations in 2003.   During his work, he started to get some ideas and concepts for the Real Estate market in New Zealand.  After that, he went back to Korea for working as the Supervising Producer for feature films in “Egg Film Co” which produced “OLD BOY” as a major company in 2001.

He came back to New Zealand in 2007.  He recognized that the real estate market here was increasingly attractive to Koreans at that time.  He found that there was much demand from Korean investors interested in New Zealand properties.

Giwon has established business plans suitable for Korean investors for New Zealand properties .because many Koreans consider the location of the Christchurch area as a very attractive location to start a new lifestyle.

He has selected real estate as his career and looks forward to continuing his new, excellent & exciting life with his family of which he is extremely proud.

Giwon speaks fluent Korean and English.   He is involved in Community groups which include one of the Korean Christian Churches, the Korean Society and restaurant owners.
